Different music styles

I notice singers can have up to 3 different music styles, as showing in the management screen: blue for rock, pink for pop, green for rap.
Anybody know what this is for, can singers who only have the blue rock icon only be used during act 1 and not during act 2 and 3 anymore. Or they earn just earn extra or something

i think theyll get more currencies when theyre playing on the right stage, but dont qoute me on that, thats pure speculation ^^

I'm fairly sure you got it. The symbols indicate which acts the characters may earn currency in. If they have all three (Like Lisa) they can be Sent on jobs in all three acts.

That's what seemed most likely to me too. But it means that Freeman and Stevens will be useless in acts 2 and 3. So I hope Grumpstown is right

In the original game description is says something about properly managing your bands for best attendance or something like that. My guess is that it’s about having matched up musicians playing together for the best outcome, particularly on the main stage during the relevant acts. I had quite a menagerie going last night but this morning I put all rockers on the main stage and quickly had a large crowd of kids to tap.

Yea I had the same result. I'm gonna guess its set up like jazz fest here. We have about a dozen stages and they're colour coded. Makes it a lot easier to find what you want as each stage is a set "style" and therefore, Colour in the program.
Pretty sure most majour fests are like that as well.
So I'm guessing stage and not acts. Doesn't make sense that I buy a premium character to only be used in one act. EA hasn't screwed up like that since the Hideaway incident:) And they fixed that.

I bet the stages are color coded, too, but I'm not sure. Has anyone figured it out yet?
