Lately the updates have been coming around 7am PDT so that is why I guess 24 hours. Also there is game file info about placing springfield falls and a sushi restaurant and a new episode is coming out about sushi.

The episode is on 14th of Aril so maybe we will get an episode update too

all the major updates (ones where we had to download them from the appstore) came on a Wednesday.
so it could even be today... but you know, whatever...
