Do people take advantage of my bonuses when clicking in my town?

I think there is some sort of bonus, because from some friends I get $16 per house and others I get $18 per house, not sure how it works tho

You used to get an advantage by visiting people with more bonus stuff, but that's been eliminated.

I've checked in my own friend towns and amount of premium items doesn't give me any extra.

You used to be able to take advantage of your own bonuses and your neighbor's bonuses, but EA took it away because people were using the system to get large amounts of money. Now it's a flat $16 for each item you tap on in your neighbors' towns. I think "Other Springfield" is the only one that might give $18 per tap.
