Like mwdalton said, the last update in Queensland was between 1-2am lucky for me when Lenny and Carl update was due I woke up to go to the toilet at about 1:30am and knew an update was due earlier that evening so I checked it and it was an update,so I woke them Missis up she also a mad tapper, and we set about Lenny and Carl's tasks. Hope it happens again cuz I got a little **** afterwards lol
Yes agree for me the level 27 update was delivered in the middle of the night for me as well - we are 1 hour ahead of Queensland during summer time.
I suppose my point was when an update relates to a special seasonal event it usually comes later than level updates.
Of course it is all speculation - lets hope it does come in the next 12 hours or else we probably need to wait another week

I'm not getting my hopes up. I don't think it will be released anytime soon. Reviewing an old thread, how many times has EA cancelled or not gone through with certain "updates" contained in these files? Quite a few....

There will be an update. I stake my reputation on it. They've gone to an awful lot of effort with this one if they don't go through with it.
It'd be like crafting a three course meal, and then not serving it up. It could happen, sure, but what a waste!
It would make sense to have the update go live at the very start of their business day, so they have the maximum amount of time at work to fix any major issues that might crop up...so I reckon it'll be within the next 2 hours...the wait is killing me! I wish they would just tell us when updates would be released, ahead of time! Does anyone else think this?

If it's a major release, they'd likely make sure everybody's at the office so that they have all-hands on deck once it's pushed out. When it comes to release day, there's no such thing as regular work hours. If you're on release duty you're there until the release is out and running or all major issues are in triage.
Not to mention that even if they started at the "beginning of the day" there's things that happen behind the scenes before the release is pushed out to the user. The infrastructure team may start at 8am, with the actual release being pushed out around midday when they can confirm everything is in place for it.

Agreed, I my experiance when releasing projects and updates where I work there is a "Release window" that allows any changes to code to be put into production at any time from 10:30am to 2:00pm, then another from 5pm to 10pm.
So mypoint is that who knows when we will get the update there is no way that a software company would ever release a product at some exact time.

I've been saying 9am PST.
But it's just a guess, my memory is not the best. I just know that usually it is afternoon EST (where I am) when the updates hit.
I'm pretty sure I remember evening for the big ones, though, which is not the time of day it is here at 7a PST.
Time differences make my head hurt.
I've only had one content update happen between 7-8 am. That was the level 27 update. All the other content updates have been later in the day.
