Zoom-out MAJORLY needs improving!

Does it drive anyone else mad how little of your town you can see at once?! My town is so big, and I'd LOVE to see what the whole thing looks like!!!

PLEEEEEASE EA, can you sort this?!!!!

  • It would be a great feature to see but I doubt they will anytime soon maybe never.

There is no zooming. Their idea of "zooming out" does nothing at all. I want to zoom out enough to look at my ENTIRE town. Not just 1 tiny area.....I got no idea what my town looks like because of this. If I could zoom all the way out then I could get a better understanding of what I need to fix.

Agreed. This has been a frequently-requested feature dating back to the game’s earliest days. But it’ll probably never happen.
  • If you could zoom out to see your entire town, you wouldn't be able to anything, because all the buildings would be so tiny. Keep in mind the game has added a lot more land, at the right and bottom over the years.
  • Well it would be nice to at least see my entire Burns Mansion at once! I've given it quite extensive grounds! Lol! Very annoying...... :s

If you have Game Tuner you can change the resolution and get a larger view. The text and icons will shrink too.

Can you give us an example? Maybe post a screenshot of part of your town to see how much it makes a difference?

I installed it only to put my game back to the original, lower resolution. The higher resolution makes the game run a bit slower, but you can see a larger area of your town if you want to.

You can monkey with framerates and other stuff I guess to speed it up. I used to wonder why some people could have pixels showing in their screenshots of this game.
