Only if you weren't level 26. People with a big bonus ratio can get through the levels quicker than normal. Other things like house farms can affect leveling up also.

I think I was level 26 when I built his house, too. You're high enough to unlock the buildings (with quests), right? Sounds like enough.

Well... I don't have a very high bonus(Maybe 24%). Maybe It's just that I am extremely addicted to this game? Haha

That too. Super active playing really rakes in the XP.

Strange thing happened to me yesterday . I been tapping as normal and some point
Level up screen pop out. I find 3 donuts at second attempt . Clicked collect
3 donuts been added but I was half way through (57k)
That was pleasant surprise and I not gonna complain
But it was strange. Anyone else had it?

Finishing a build can give you enormous XP, enough to push you to another bonus level. Otherwise, you were extremely lucky.

Whoops, reading fail - somehow I got that you thought you were behind in levels. Carry on...

ETA: like sherry said, active playing can do it. When I work from home, everyone is on 60min tasks. That means a lot more $$ and xp in a day than 8hr or 12hr tasks would get me.

If that was a building I want more of thouse houses. It left me with 57k after level up
I finish building two white houses and been collecting money from whole city because I left game for couple of hours but 57k is to much any anyway ,
I honestly wish it was a new glitch and will affect more people

Sounds more like he reached his first bonus level. If you are at level 27, and max the XP again, you get to the bonus levels. There's 3 boxes and pick one for free and if you don't like it and and wasn't the one with 3 donuts, you can pay 50k to pick a different box.

I started playing about a month ago and am now almost to lvl 20. I recently bought just about all the premium buildings and characters, and that's made a noticeable increase in both my money and XP. I was previously doing mostly 1 hour tasks for the most part with my characters (since these give you more money and XP than the longer tasks per minute or hour), but now am mostly doing 6-12 hour tasks since I don't want to hit the end game too soon. Of course I know they'll continue to release updates and raise the level cap, but at the rate I'm leveling I'll probably have maxed out lvl 27 in another month max, even with my slowdown in play. Must admit I'm looking forward to seeing my "complete" Springfield, as well as what future updates have in store.

Dont worry about getting a complete Springfield just yet. I've been playing since Feb and although I haven't purchased donuts I am now about 1/2 way through level 26 and my Springfield is miles away from being complete, I am so tight for space at the moment I am building Krabappel's Appartment in the school play area until I can afford another square of land!

I've been playing daily for a month and a half and I'm only on level 17. I'm in the tasks to build the guided truffle got a while before I level up and minimal premium items.

Yes, but I didn't stay half way. I mean, it didn't stay at half but give donut selector. I thought I was quite a way off from the bonus, but jumped up after a build finished. They don't seem to list the XP reward for build finishes, but some of the latest buildings, since around the Muntz house or so, have quite high XP payouts.
