Gianormously huge buildings!?

Why are all new buildings so big? I don't know where to put them. So I don't buy them.
Classified Records is a new example. Why is that?
My "mid town" (older/early buildings) is made up from smaller houses and shops. But as you move out from the center (design and level wise, if you understand) the houses are getting bigger and bigger.

Well I know that you guys don't know. It is a retorical question.

I agree, these new buildings are getting ridiculously big and dont look good compared to the old. Scale way off. Not a fan of the trend to bigger and bigger

Pure guess but maybe the buildings are getting bigger as they want to add more detail to them as we are tending to play on devices with larger screens now than what we used to use.
