I'll see if I can reacquire Falls, though the Sushi place ain't showing up to buy with Donuts from the premium items list.. I don't think too much progress is lost, I started the fancy restaurant this morning (before i noticed Falls disappeared), and that's still building so I think I'm ok. I'm just gonna play on and hope it miraculously comes back, ha!!

Since there is no resolution to the town leveling down bug, maybe it would be prudent if those who have experienced this bug to share what they did prior to seeing this happen. It is possible that there is a common root cause to this occurring. Also, try following the basic troubleshooting steps to see if any of this helps, in order if possible.

1) uninstall and reinstall the app.
2) Restart your device
3) start the app.
4) repeat steps 1-3
5) turn off wi-fi and go into airplane mode if applicable. Then attempt to login to the app.
6) When it fails, close and restart the app.
7) repeat steps 1-3

Let me know if any of that helps.

I'm worried about uninstall and reinstall! My device says " I will also lose all of it's data." Why would I do that? I have over 900 donuts and on level 27. Could you please tell me I will not lose this????? :shock:

What the hell? Is the town reverting back to normal a rampant issue for alot of ppl? It srsly makes me afraid to log in as well, a little update caused all these hickups in the game, id hate to find out what thursday has in store for us..

Which means that I'm going to handle this update the way I used to handle updates before.....wait till the evening and come here to see if there are any major problems.

Has anybody checked the FB page? That is usually a good indicator if this is a rampant problem. The page will be slammed with comments about this.

You played on the iPhone and then switched to the iPad?

So the information from the iPhone did not save to the server....

Did this happen to anybody else who has lost their towns?

We need to post this in the known issues thread. Is the problem because of transferring between devices or even from cell phone to WIFI and the information not being saved on the servers?

About the Issue: Town gets reverted back to a previous level.

You say there's no fix, I think it's a bit misleading.
It's a fairly new bug and EA need more time to investigate their source code.

You should say there's no fix YET, to avoid killing players hopes.

My game has crashed randomly 4 times since update when opening tsto my login screen was blank not till I tapped my name came up and logged in ok

I have not lost my donuts on an uninstall/reinstall. The data is saved on the Origin servers.

I am very lucky to have never experienced any of these major hiccups and I've been here since original launch.

Hope everything gets resolved very soon for everyone that's affected.

Don't know if it has been mentioned but another issue is the game constantly crashing before your town loads. I've been unable to play now for 2 days because of this and can't seem to find a fix.

What do you mean crashing? Does the app close by itself?

I really hope they fix it to where my town is back at where it was because I can not start back over at level 7 to get to 27 again.
