It's random. I win a couple times a month. Only bet on the 9-1 dog, and when you do win its worth it. But I have money to burn.

Yes, some including me have won 25.000 but the Downs its a joke really. If you are early in the game and you don't want to be lured in to betting again just put it in the inventory. I did before I've put it somewhere that I don't see it often, in order to keep temptation away..

the downs IMO is a money waster for the upper level players to goof around with while waiting for the next update.

As with real gambling the average Joe will walk away typically poorer..

A few times I've won a bit of money, but usually if I do win its on the favourite. I think somone on here broke it down to the odds and it turned out you'd mainly lose more than gain betting on any of them with their probability.
