Building/decorations Limit!?

I don't even have all the land yet and I have to get rid of over 2000 decorations before I can buy any whacking day items? This is utter garbage...

The message says done to increase stability, I suppose they are trying to take some of the strain off the servers. You don't have to sell the items, just store them.

Currently destroying my beautiful wooded areas. I shed a tear... This sucks but I guess if it stabilises stuff it's ok in the long run.

I suppose it's a price to pay to resolve crashiness, it's a shame they couldn't find an alternative though.

hopefully they'll raise the limit if they can get their act together with all the bugs. It's really disappointing. I don't really see what the problem is from a programming stand-point. Granted, it'd get to be a larger set of data to save, but it shouldn't be unmanageable, as long as the client side can handle it.

The game won't be stable no matter what they do, that's an excuse fr really saying we want smaller house farms so you get less donuts.
God I feel sorry for those with 1000 plus decs to remove, that'll take a while. Now house farmers wil et rid of all decs for hoses and the nice town will have to be stripped due to going over 3000
One thing I think it confirms is there wont be a land expansion for the time being, seen as EA want us to actively remove things, if I expanded t would be more strain and make towns even more barren

There only one reason the limit has been put into place and that is to try and stop people having crashing issues!

Of course this doesn't help anyone who has spent loads off time making there town look unique

Just thought I'd let your know why this limit is now in place

you can't plant eggs if the limit is reached. ea needs to increase it to 5000 - to many towns will need to be torn because of it

silly thing is though the amount of decorations you "have" decreases as you put them in storage, so doesn't exactly remove them from games...

That is true but putting them into your inventory from what I have been told will help the game from crashing

Just means some people could have a lot of work putting things away

luckily mine was only 500 or so over but it's still rather annoying having to decide what to sacrifice and reworking designs. Btw have you got your town back yet Neo? If not I hope you do soon!

I went into my town to get started cleaning trash and storing items. Then I realized my cleaners are busy!!!

Just spent 30 minutes putting away my decorations which I thought would not take away from the look of my town.... Only 200... I have to clear almost 2000 more before I can do anything ... I could cry
