I'm only 308 over the limit and have a house farm of 460 blue houses which I built to get all the land (done) and some free donuts (about 50) but I guess with the new XP limit (mines over 308,000 now) I won't be getting anymore free donuts for a while anyway so bye bye blue farm... Well ok, maybe one more collection first ;)

Having to destroy my beautiful forest and nature reserve is so depressing. Hours of careful designing for nothing.

I appreciate the update, but not this. I've spent an hour storing stuff (and ruining my town in the process) and I still have close to 600 items to find that I don't mind getting rid of.

Talk about swings and roundabouts.... They giveth with one hand and taketh away with the other.

They're trying to fit all the android people on origin. Buy some more servers you cheap * I'm sure you can afford it. This really just shows how much they don't give a f about their loyal customers. More incentive to cater to the android crowd at their expense. Money money money money

Just received the warning. WTH! I'm not a house farmer. My town loads fine. It may only be for 300+ over but I have to kill even more to be able to keep building. I also have a lot of land to purchase yet. Am I supposed to leave it bare. Everything is well spaced out the way it is. This may unfortunately be it for me too. I'll finish off my large town image so I can rem it how it is if I have to start dismantling a good amount of it.

Yeah, I'm pretty bummed at the 3,000 item limit. Just placed about 300 items in inventory, still have another 80 to get to 3,000. I'll probably remove another 20 on top of that to leave some room for the Whacking Day content.

This really bums me out. If we need to start managing our item count, and design around this restriction, it's gonna take a lot of fun out of this game :(

I have no idea how close I'm to 3000 but with my love for trees and gardens I think I might have a problem by tomorrow night... I mean people that have payed real money for this game naturally have more decorations and buildings! Go figure this happens when I finish my new park...

    Thanks!

My town looks so ugly, I hate it! *cries*

BUT....I've been bored with it and didn't want to change anything. Guess this is a blessing in disguise because it's forcing me to change things. Will just store all the decorations away and then redesign after this event.

EGGS!! (Sorry for the teeny tiny image, can't get IMUPR to work for some reason and had to use photobucket)

I'd like to think this is temporary but alas I feel this limit will be in effect for a long time. I don't see EA losing any profits/sales or users over this. A few people like us will moan and complain but nothing will ever come of it. The mass majority of players will continue on and adjust to the new rules.

In fact EA will probably see a massive spike in sales and new users (due to the android expansion and update) and will have no incentive to upgrade servers and lift the creativity ban. This is a sad day as I go back to dismantling all of my hard work

    question.

does this only start happening once you put down a snake egg down?

I just put down a decoration and did not see the error message but want to make sure before breathing a sigh of relieve.

The **** thing is the Springfield Sign and a lamp post each count as one item each?????????? Shouldn't size be a factor?
