The limit only happens if you are over the limit. I find this terrible and having been a long time player am done with the game. It states the limit is 3000 and I currently have 4500 items. I am not going to spend my time deleting my shrubs and trees and other small plants just to meet the quota and then have to delete more to add the new buildings. This is supposed to be MY TOWN the way I wanted it not the way they want me to have it. If it is going to stay like this then it defeats the purpose to create your own springfield.
This is absolute insanity!!
I spend lots of REAL $$ on this game for myself, my wife and my daughter. Now we ALL have to delete half of our towns in order to continue BUYING stuff that we'll end up probably having to delete AGAIN to make room for more stuff???? I guess EA Games does not want our REAL $$ any more?!? FIX THE LIMIT OR WE ALL WALK!!
Got the same problem, EA requires me to destroy 33% of my Springfield to restart building right back up to the 3000 objects limit again. Nonsense.
EA is effectively locking out generously paying customers that have been playing for some time, preventing them from continuing a game in progress because EA blocks further development with this new, sudden and unannounced limit.
This can and will not stand. If EA does not clarify a.s.a.p. I will demand a full refund and take legal steps if I have to.
