I have no problem spending some money on this game. I understand that the devs have to make money to keep the game up and running, but the complaint I do have is the price of the premium items.
When it's going to cost me £13 just to get enough doughnuts for one premium item, well, I feel that price is too high.
I'm sure if the devs made items cheaper, they would make a lot more sales, as more ppl would part with a couple of quid without worry.
I play a few games, and I've found I spend more in total when it's only a couple of quid I'm parting with, but when it comes to spending in excess of £10 just to buy one item I hesitate and normally can't justify spending that much for only one item.
I'm not one of those whiners expecting everything for free, I would just like things to be a bit cheaper.
Despite all that, I do thank you for all the work you have done in posting a list of all the items, great work!
How do I get the jebediah statue? I notice while visiting friends towns that some have one even two different ones and some don't regardless of level. But when I look in my build menu I don't see it available for either in game money or donuts. So how does one go about getting it?

The original Jebediah statue is a Easter egg. You get it by tapping on Homer 10 times while on his task "play with my pad". You will unlock the statue + 10 donuts.
As for the other one, which is called the Snake statue, it was one of the prizes for the Whackng Day event of 2013 & is no longer available.

I have absolutely no problem with dropping some real cash on a good game, I just think the value for money is terrible.
One building and one character is like £9. Is that a fair price?
It's not as if one character and one building contributes a whole hell of a lot to your Springfield.
Equating it to a dlc for a console game is not right, you get hours and hours of play from one of those, plus the guys who made that dlc put shed loads of work in.
How long honestly does it take to knock up a single, small 2d building and a tiny character with four or five animations?
The people going on about freeloaders and whingers seem to see to be blind to this argument.
Saying anything about the premium stuff being expensive, which it is, is always interpreted as people wanting everything free, which is not the case.
I have spent loads of cash on this game, looking back I can't believe how much, but I just feel I don't get much for my money.
This game is very simple really. There's not a lot to it. Sure the devs update it but generally it doesn't add much different in my opinion. Updates always include more premium items though.
The seasonal events are fun, but they seem designed to get you to buy donuts more than anything else.
Limited edition items and events where, without spending real cash, you have to choose between two items when you want both.
Oh and the 'sale' Gil was promoting a while back. Not items being cheaper. You still have to buy the same amount of donuts but you get some back as a rebate. Not enough to do anything with mind.
Pre Christmas event, my last mystery box was 100 bucks. The one before that was 50. The only premium items I ever got was a lemon tree and one white picket fence. I have been playing for years. So I don't know where that argument comes from.
Again, I am not saying I want everything to be free.
I just feel that EA are not being as fair with thier loyal customers as they could be.
This game has already netted millions for EA and it didn't cost that much to make. The money is not being spent on the support or server upgrades etc. either.
How much would it cost to get all the premium items? And for the sake of argument let's say I have been playing from the start. Would be interested to know. Thanks

You don't seem to like this game...it's too expensive and too simple. So why are you still playing? Also, what makes you say that they're not spending money on support? They offer email, chat, and phone support.... Do you think those folks are volunteers??
Sound like you'd be happier just buying another console game, so go for it!
Wow thanks for all the replies to my question everyone! Found it hard to keep up......oh wait.....
I didn't see your question until now. It's also kinda hard to answer because it's vague. It all depends on what you mean & if you bought each item as they came out. Because some were removed, others prices were dropped & some got bundled up in promos.
