It would be nice if they provided more vanity items for in-game cash. I've almost run out of things to save up for, it's usually land expansions now. Some sports related ones would be nice, baseball diamond, basketball court, just some simple things to make the areas look better.

I've been wanting a Sports update for a while that incorporates my 2 favorite sports (Football & Baseball)
Would be a good way to finally get Stan Taylor, Buck Mitchell, the Springfield Atoms Stadium, Springfield Isotopes Stadium, some other sports related accessories, maybe even other characters like Tabitha Vixx & Howard K. Duff VIII. Also get Dancin' Homer as a skin & Make Capital City Goofball into a playable character with 2 visual tasks (Squeeze the Wheeze & Call Dr. Munroe's Hotline)
I'm glad they gave us some more trees from today's Thanksgiving event, Homer's RV will make a classic addition and I may want to include it for Bob's RV Roundup.
Regarding the price of donuts, I agree that they are too high. EA should either lower the price of donuts or lower the amount of donuts required to purchase premium items so that you can purchase more with fewer donuts. It's good to see that EA has finally loosened up a little bit and are giving more donuts away for free. Even so, premium items are still very expensive.
I have been playing this game for close to four years and have spent almost $600 for donuts. I don't have that much to show for it in return. I have resolved to never spend another dollar on this stupid game. For all of you who've been touting the prices of other popular games, how many of you have spent over $500 on those games? I doubt very few of you even spent even a couple-hundred on each.
Yet, EA still expects us to fork out money for donuts to buy premium items that cost at least 150 to 250 donuts, or more. Not me! It's just not worth it. And think about this; your forking over real dollars for things that don't even exist. Ponder that!

People that buy donuts is what keeps this game running

Nobody is disputing that. This thread is all about getting your money's worth. If you don't mind being exploited for ultra-expensive donuts, then fine.
Please add new areas horizontally and vertically, on holidays do not give new territory, soon Christmas and the new year, I do not know where to put the house that you have given on Halloween!
One must not forget the entertainment value. One goes to the cinema, pays to see a film, but one does not come away with the film, or any event we pay to see. At least (provided it does not crash) we still have the entertainment value which we have paid for. However, people do not have bottomless pits of money. I love the theatre but have to forego lots of events just because the cost is too high. I think a lot is supply and demand though. If an item is 250 donuts and people are paying that amount for it, then what incentive do EA have for lowering the price. You only need 10 people to pay 250 to get 2,500 but you would need 20 to get that amount if it were sold for half the price etc. I once had a hairdresser who decided to double his charges. I said to him that means you will lose customers. He said yes he would which means he does not have to work so many hours, but the customers who remain and willing to pay double the price means he is getting the same amount of money for less work, which is what he wanted. Maybe EA are happy with those who can and do afford it. I think they deserve something as nobody should work for nothing and they are giving entertainment value. The dilemma is whether to give something once a month or save up for six months to get a decent bundle of donuts.
I don't like the fact that this winter's mission requires donut spending to complete. It makes you spend 120 donuts to place Martin's ice palace. I get premium items costing, but for a mission item to cost is crazy to me. I guess that mission will be there forever for me or maybe go away once winter in sprinfield is over.
