This sticky title should be changed from Free vs premium to Free vs premium vs chance prizes because EA keeps making the chance prizes ala wheels and boxes harder to obtain. This needs to be a new category .
My problem is that once you have reached the highest level, and already have everything, until there are certain updates, there is little incentive to play the game. The free money becomes useless, and you are just interested in the stories.
Also, as for not advertising, the entire game is an advertisement. They also advertise when a new episode is on (no complaints though).
I do no think EA should give away the house. But there should be something reasonable you can do to earn donuts, especially for people who are level 39 right now.
And regardless, yea, the premium items are overpriced and unobtainable without a money purchase. They should at least be obtainable with time if the game is truly free. At 3 donuts (at most) when you level up as a level 39, you aren't getting anywhere.
They need to make it so you can earn a reasonable amount of donuts compared to price.
Also not cool that in the beginning when you first get the game, the confirm donuts option is turned off. Until you realize it is there, you get burned losing whatever few donuts you have. Happens to every newbie I know. This is clearly intentional.

You can play the game as slowly & creatively as you want. I personally don't want gigantic volcanos or signs taking up all my space because that's not the type of landscape I'm creating. You can have lots of fun playing the game without the premium items. You don't have to do exactly what the game tells you to do, like a trained monkey.
i once got squeeky voiced teen in a mystery box...after i spent some doughnuts on him already. he's just taking up space in my inventory.
EA says they're "working on fixing it" but it's been nearly a year now.
my statue of liberty lisa also disappeared back in july. she still hasn't been replaced :x
I started playing with free items only. Now I am getting the premium since have mostly all free.
I wonder if I will have the opportunity to get premium items that I passed by. I.e: Falls.
Other premiums items that love to get are Apple buildings and Ceasars Casino.
Things have been re-released in the past, so anything is possible. The only one that may not return is the Mapple Store, but I could be wrong. Just wait and see
If they do re-release the Mapple Store, then they should release it with Steve Mobbs as a playable character

Rex Banner could be re-released this year for 4th of July. But he will most likely be premium. Let's wait and see
