All of the free items are quite useful. But they have made the cool things premium. Which I find quite annoying. As they know we want the premium stuff. It's not the fact that they are premium items. It's that they are ridiculously overpriced. Who have 200 doughnuts for a volcano lair? Not me.
I do. Mind you, I have spent countless hours developing a hack to get infinite donuts and cash..

what is my life
Never in my life have I heard someone chat more s*it lmao...
Let me guess if we send you our account details, blood, a large amount of cash and nude pictures of our girlfriends/wives you'll share.
I've spent countless hours developing a fusion reactor, it's powering my house right now, just can't be **** telling anyone that I've successfully made the most important device in the history of mankind...
You know, I am a purist. I play the game as intended and never used any hacks. However, with the prices of everything it has crossed my mind. I didn't, trust me, look at the lack of premium items in my game, but I still thought of it. I would love to have some of the premium items but as another poster said, 15 to 20 dollars for AN item is insane. If EA lowered the prices to something reasonable, I wonder how many players would be forking out the cash. For me, I'm a huge Halloween buff and a huge Treehouse of Horror buff. I'd spend a pretty penny if I had a shot to get my favorites. But even if I spent twenty bucks, I'd get a building or a character so I don't bother buying anything.

Opinions?
I've thought about hacks as well but I don't want my account damaged. I've been thinking about buying donuts but it some ways, it wouldn't feel as rewarding.. The premium items but I have no place to put them cause I haven't unlocked every piece of land.
My springfield is a mess so I'd have to rearrange trying to fit bowlarama. Meanwhile, I have to collect goo, do tasks in the time I play. it's not worth it to spend money on the game at the moment.
Now if I had enough land and could afford it, sure I'd buy some premium stuff.
i can see both sides of the discussion....i think if e.a. were to lower the cost of doughnuts the purcase revenues would increase in excess of the price drop making it more profitable for them......its much easier to spend $1 one hundred times than it is to spend $100 at once.....and i am a moron for spending over $150 to buy all the primo shtuff!!
I just hit the lottery on the scratch off, now I'm up to 245 donuts. I have no idea what to buy... I already have Hans/Teen, Duffman, Sideshow Mel, Frink, Otto, and Bumblebee Man. I bought the Channel 6 news truck to get the 4 hour interval task.
Last time I won 100 donuts, I bought 7 Homer Buddha's and got 4 benches and 3 trees. OOF.
This time, I'm debating high end items vs. Scorpio vs. Halloween items.
While I agree with OP I paid donuts for some things listed like the Marge Witch, because I am an Android user. I have spend over $100 on the game, and enjoy the freebies. I do wish some things were re released, even for donits. I can say EA has been generous with donuts this update. I have gotten 50 plus donurs with bonus goo, etx.
The items which are no longer available, will they ever become available? Is there any instances where items which have been brought back which were previously limited time?

Some.
All of last years Halloween items were brought back this year. With the exception of the Mayan God with Mayan Artifact, Super Collider with Black Hole. And that's because these were episode specific stuff from last years Treehouse of Horror episode.
Fat Tony was a re-released when Legs & Louie were, but this is partly due to the fact that it won't make sense to have them without having Fat Tony.
That's it so far. We'll see when Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines & Saint Patricks Day comes around as well as other "Limited Time" stuff. Only time will tell
I'm enjoying the game so much I check in daily and I'm getting closed to leveling up ....to 37 I wished I got the
Raygun I lost a day during the Halloween theme...I got bummed out :P
The Fleet-A-Pita needs asterisks following it. It requires a 150 donut premium item to unlock.
EDIT: Nvm, I see that you're just listing items based on whether they're actually free or cash. Or wait... why is Kodos free and Kang donuts? Whatever, I guess the list just isn't very consistent or accurate.

The list is 100% accurate. Those of us that purchased the Ray Gun & Kang last year got Kodos for free. I'll see if I can notate it a little better so there's no confusion

Okay...
Kang last year was free with purchase of a Ray Gun. Kang this year is completely free no strings attached.
Kodos this year is free with the purchase of a Ray Gun.
If Kang is premium via Ray Gun, Kodos should be premium via Ray Gun as well. If Kodos is free, Kang should also free. Also, Kang should be notated as free (regardless of Ray Gun association) as well since it was given away free this year.
It doesn't even make sense to argue that Kang was only free for a limited time because it's only been available twice, once and the latest instance when it was free, and it is only available on a limited basis! Kang should definitely be free.
One way to rectify the inconsistencies is merely to make a premium/non-premium category for items that used to premium and became free and vice versa. Then explain when each item was free and when it cost donuts. Either that or list Kang under both the free and premium categories. But, again, if Kang is considered at all premium via association with Ray Gun, Kodos should be premium as well since its only free via the same association.

YES!!!! Every other game has an advertisement somewhere. TSTO does not do that.
