Also thought I'd add that I'm on an iPad2 6.0.1 os. When I download the game from the AppStore it has the new snake icon, but when it finishes it reverts back to the standard tapped out logo.

Try to just keep uninstalling and reinstalling. I've seen a few people post that it took 4 or 5 tries to get it to finally update and work. Hope you get it fixed soon, this might be the best update ever (besides the XP glitch and 3,000 limit).

Yeah it was a great update, while I had it working. Been uninstalling and reinstalling for a couple hours, no joy.
