I havent found a single one. Either it's bugged or the drop rate is seriously low. Kind of disingenuous advertising, but hey, that's pretty much par for the course at this point.

Pretty sure they're full of it. Between friends and myself we have whacked a couple thousand eggs and not a single donut. Pair that with all the eggs mentioned in here and the 1% chance is definitely bunk.

Haven't got even one myself despite cracking hundreds, if not over a thousand eggs.

I think the claimed 1% drop rate is pure hogwash.

Assuming a 20-25% of getting an egg when you whack a snake, that's 2,500-3,125 eggs each person might get throughout the event if they get all the prizes. If the donut rate was 1%, that's 25-31 donuts EA are giving out per player.

On top of that, there are the second tier whacking prizes with a chance to win donuts for every 1000 snakes whacked. It might be hard without spending any donuts on premium stuff, but if someone bought the extra whacking license, that allows them to whack 10 snakes per friend, that's 1000 snakes per day easy if you add in the extras from snake spawns, friends' egg drops, special tasks and the ones from the free snake rock prize.

So, someone doing that could potentially get 28.000-30,000+ snakes throughout the event, so that's 50-62 donuts from just eggs if it really was 1% and a lot of chances to earn more donuts through the snake boxes. I just cannot see EA giving out that many to be frank, since they have always nee tight **** when it comes to donuts.

However, given just how buggy this event has been, it would not surprise me at all if the donut rate was supposed to be 1%, but the **** it up and it just isn't working for most people, or the donut rate is has been set a lot lower (looks more like 0.01% based on feedback from others and my own personal experience)

If we assume that the probability of obtaining a donut is 1 in 100, then the chance that no donuts are found among 500 eggs is (0.99)^500 = 0.00657048, which is about 0.66%. The chance of not seeing a single donut in 2000 trials is about 1 in 537 million. So it is safe to conclude that the true probability is much less than 0.01. If the report about seeing no donuts in 3400 trials is true, then we can be at least 95% confident that the true probability is less than 1 in 1000. If we aggregate all the reports, then we can be at least 95% confident that the true probability is less than 1 in 2000, which for the purposes of collecting donuts is effectively zero, since such a small probability means a player would have to whack somewhere around 8000 snakes to just have a 50-50 chance of seeing at least one donut.

He found it in the raw files. He may have misinterpreted it, though. :?

Edit: Or maybe EA messed up the coding. It wouldn't be the first time.
