Leaving messages for friends

Hey:

One of the best parts about this game is seeing your friend's towns, but when they "collect": we don't know who collected, or how they feel about your town.

There should be a "Springfield billboard" in every town where your friends can leave messages. Make it happen!
Agree, so much agree

yep, I have wished they would have this too, never knowing who is (or is not) coming to your town, and many a time I have wanted to comment to someone on my admiration for the town

I think if you actually look at your origin ID login screen where there are messages, you know who has visited and exactly when.

Also if you enable push notifications it tells you on your ipad pulldown info center who has visited and when.

Not saying that the message board isn't a good idea, but if it is in someway a way to try and keep track of who has visited, that's already done and very accurate.

I am not sure that I can see who actually visited my Springfield, I can see when they logged in, that they are in Tapped out, but not if they visited. Are you seeing this info somewhere else that they actually visited your town? And that still does not leave room for people commenting on your Springfield, unless you are seeing something totally different than I am.

I like to keep push notifications off, that is one of those things that drains the battery, and I would hate to try to keep up with 50+ notifications of who has visited.

Yeah it is only in push notifications that you see the exact time and date, I figure push of this type, it's like a text message or an email "push".

Ah, well that stinks, yeah, I guess I will not see.

On a side note from the game, but to the topic, I have read that one battery saving trick on the Apple devices is turning off push notifications. The premise being that it is constantly searching and using up battery to do this, much like if you leave wifi on when you are not in a wifi area the device is constantly searching for a signal and using battery to do this. I guess I am just a miser with my battery but can * away money on donuts.

I didn't want to start a new thread for this, and this one has a suitable topic.

I presume this is a message to friends I found in someone's town. Very cute and always makes me smile when I see it...

^^^ That is cute! I have said "Hi" to certain friends with bushes before, but it is certainly not the optimal solution.

Thats a wicked idea :) be good to say Hi to people :) Once people got to know each other better you can imagine what the "billboard" would start saying lol

I shudder to think of what the billboard might say at times :? but I think the idea is great... It's a social game after all!
