Have to manually assign task for kids (& Barney)

Anybody else having this issue? None of the kids have a necessary task and the unemployment office will not set them on a job. It's happening with all the kids and Barney. I guess it's a Halloween NARA glitch. I currently am working on completing deep space homer.
