We bought ours on prime day just over a year ago. We have used it a good bit, but as a gadget it has lost favor to sous vide at the moment. Mainly it makes brown rice.
I bought one yesterday with the Amazon sale. Looking forward to it.
Let me know how it works out for you. There is a group on facebook dedicated to recipes and all that good stuff if you have questions.
Lemme help.
Using a measuring cup, scoop the rice, get rid of excess and put on plate (obviously upside-down so the rice comes out).
Beans?
Well I'd use a spoon or ladle, using a napkin try and clean any excess liquid, now remember that sausage is the money shot (please refrain from laughing) depending on the size two or more are needed.
Place it on an angle so the space between the neat and rice is a 90° angle.
If the sausage is too small spread them out evenly like a handful of cards.
Here is a general plating guideline.
In my opinion no bad plate presentation exists (not true) just bad food (generally true.)
Don't forget the money shot, that is what your eyes will be drawn to first, and will more than often be the protein.
Not a fan of this presentation, but the shrimp is offset at an angle and that's what I'm talking about, the veg is set under which is interesting but could have been placed in a creative manner, however one most also calculate what is IN or trending.

Top one looks nice bottom one looks like someone has just been sick. Am sorry.
I think it's lying.
I agree beans and rice isn't the most attractive of dishes. I took a half dozen pics and that's the best I could get...
@moxxee It's not instant, but it is quick.
