Should I be sending 4 kids to each monster, or 1 to each monster?
I dont even know what I'm supposed to be doing... man this event it horrible
It is better to do one monster at a time - have a look at the first page in this thread at the first few posts for tips.

when I sent multiple characters, it still only 1 of 15 visits, though. what do I gain by sending multiple characters to capture/endear the same creature?

If I may jump in, can I ask if you're still trying to unlock monsters by sending kids to remove/add dark or light mana, if so, then the number 1/15 is a bit misleading as it is actually referring to the amount of 'circles' you have managed to empty/fill, so sending Bart, Lisa and Milhouse may only put the number up from 1/15 to 2/15, but then the next time you sent them all it would go to 4/15....

unlock? 2 are "captured", 1 is 4/15 captured

When I was sending 4, it was still going up by 1.
so, kearneyman was 2/15, I send 4, after completed, 3/15.

I am sending all the kids to endear/capture, not other tasks. Just wondering if I actually benefit from sending all kids to 1 monster vs splitting them up. I don't see the advantage...

    I'm missing a step/process/something, but I don't know what.

Right..since only two were premium you get a total of 3 mana for 4 characters
  • @BillionDuck Focus on one monster, until you cannot send anyone on tasks to that monster.
STEP 1 Capture a monster (cleansing dark mana) The 15 ‘bubbles’ at the top will reduce from 15 down to zero.
STEP 2 Enchant a monster (filling with light mana) The 15 ‘bubbles’ at the top will fill from zero to 15.
After you have completed steps 1and 2, you cannot send children for tasks with that monster. The monster will return to its base.
STEP 3 Release the monster from its base. You can see from images that I posted above that you will get wands and goblin gold for releasing monsters every 4 hours, even though no children are required for this part.
Angelica and Wizard Martin - 1 mana ‘bubble’ each time. Lisa, Milhouse, Bart - half a mana ‘bubble’ each time.

  • I just finished ACT 1 and got the unicorn wizard, will any wands I collect now carry over to ACT 2? Wondering if I should collect my daily challenge rewards or save them until ACT 2?

Save the daily challenges for act 2. They will swap wands for a different currency in act 2. Wands won't carry over :)

Yup, save them, I've been lucky that I managed to save a 600 last week and have had two other ones since, so now have three of them waiting to be collected Tuesday when act 2 starts

Sorry for causing you extra work :)
  • It used to be that "swapping" out (or canceling) the first daily challenge for wands would just give another wand challenge. This was a way to try for 600 wands instead of 200. However, recently I've gotten a donut challenge instead of a wand challenge when doing this. It this because I already had another open/completed (but unclaimed) wand challenge open? I did eventually dismiss one of the donut challenges and got a wand one again.

I did the same, and the second time got $2,000 IGC. :s
  • Sorry, this has Probably already been mentioned, but when and how do we get Bully-Vern,...I know you have to place his cave, and says available in Act 2. :/

Thanks, for some reason that page has been unavailable.
  • Bump.
Hey guys, I'm AO (not AOF). I create and run the Event Strategy Threads.
  • I take it there wasn't really much stratagem to be applied on this occasion then :(

LPN's battle for Springfield guide on topix:
    http://tstotopix.me/2017/11/03/treehouse-of-horror-xxviii-battle-for-springfield/
Using LPN’s walkthrough and addicts info, Lord Montymort’s battles are as follows:
The Vestige Pt. 1 Task: Make Springfielders Duel Montymort (4 hearts)
The Vestige Pt. 2 Task: Make Beasts Battle Montymort (4 hearts)
    - - - - wait 4 hours whilst he regains his health- - - -
The Vestige Pt. 3 Task: Defeat Lord Montymort [x3]
ONE defeat requires beating Normal Lord Montymort using Springfielders and Giant Lord Montymort using beasts (each one has 15 hearts). Then you need to wait 4 hours to regain health after 1st and 2nd defeat.
Lord Montymort's battles can be rushed for free when there are less than 24 minutes remaining. Bonuts once The Vestige Pt. 5 has been completed (Collect Toad Princes x5000).

I am in The Vestige Pt. 3 (with 15 hearts, not the initial 4 hearts) and can only send two beasts per battle, not three. Am I supposed to be able to send three as your chart indicates?

Do you mean the: Part three of Vestige, the third battle using just beasts?

Perhaps it is how I worded it, sorry. Above the chart I wrote that it is 2 beasts per battle. In the side entry, for example the vestige part 3, I was trying to say if it the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time fighting for chars or beasts. Beasts 1/3 meaning first battle using beasts.
