Because they are better at hideing them, than you are at finding them.

Hint: eggs are decorations, thus they can be hidden behind trees and you will not see them if you make only the buildings transparent.

Just tap like you've never tapped before. Eventually you're bound to find a snake pop out. That's what I've had to do a couple of times and it's eventually worked.
