I'm by no means an expert on the matter, and I've slctually wondered how all that works too. I have discovered when you tap a building in a neighbor town you get the same amount of money and XP no matter what building it is. This has led me to wonder if the amount it announces you have gained after three taps is the total amount of the three buildings money and XP? I think the intent of visiting neighbors' towns is to help each other out, but you know how some people always find ways to abuse a system. Good luck!
