Can't find Maggie

Prev1
I haven't been able to find Maggie since the update that gave me the tiny zoom. She doesn't make her sound, and she is too small for me to see. So I have missed her the last three times. I'm giving up on this mini game.

  • Tip: Maggie will appear on the Lard Lad, so if you got one from a mystery box and stashed it on the edge of town, you'll miss her like I did. Took me 3 misses before I went crazy and drifted all the way to the edge where I wasn't used to searching.
  • She's inside your dreams.

A different tip: Don’t rely on Maggie’s sucking noise to locate her. It’s more efficient to simply tap on each of the buildings where she might be located.

  • I sent you a pm with a game tip. ;)
  • I put most of the buildings she will go on close together
  • How many Hail Ants signs do you have in storage? Put one beside each building she can appear on, then look for those. Or use Rainbow Trees. Those are the 2 most distinctive things I can think of.

It's not that small if you zoom in to do it though, surely??

Maybe not, but a lot more ground to cover in the same amount of time.

There are only certain buildings she lands on, so maybe move all of them together.

That would make it easier, but it’s really not necessary. At least I haven’t found that to be the case. Whether zoomed completely in or out, I’ve always been able to check all of buildings where Maggie might be located with at least 15 seconds to spare.

It depends on how big your town is. I prefer the comfort of knowing I can find her with a whole minute to spare.

I’ve got all the available land right now and Maggie’s possible locations are scattered throughout my Springfield. Clumping all of those locations together in one compact area would doubtless be more convenient for the mini-game, but I thought that doing so would mar the aesthetics of those few parts of my town that actually look kinda decent. And a 15-second cushion is fine with me. As you imply, just a personal choice. :)

  • I don't try to find her anymore. Too much map to cover and the game doesn't run smooth enough on my devices for easy scrolling.
  • As has been noted before, large blocks of houses are the best things to have in proximity to the Playdough Factory. I have several and Maggie appears in one of those blocks about 90% of the time. I can usually locate her within 30 seconds and only occasionally does she appear at other buildings. As always, your experience may be very different depending upon your town's layout. Good luck!

Not if the original complaint is that the game is now zoomed out *too far*.
  • If too far means too small then yeah that's it.
  • no maggie sound you say in "find Maggie"? Tap on hammer and saw bottom right of screen to get into store then tap small circle beside movie camera under "get help" then tap on "music volume". Your sound was probably turned off in the settings.
  • Some replies really are worth the 1 and a half year wait.
  • At least a new topic wasn’t opened, as is usually the case.
