So anyway... I think I went overboard ever so slightly stocking up on chocolate for work etc...
candy dish for your desk? love hitting those. got one this morning, half chocolate bark and half white with crushed candy cane in the bark at the bank, they were sooo good lol
Haha...no... I don't have a desk, this is more a case of making sure I have a chocolate bar a day in my bag for work... I like to variate as well so get five or six multipacks and work my way through them methodically
I got my box of chocolates today. The first one I tried was the twirl bar. It was so rich. I could only eat one piece. I enjoyed it but was surprised how chocolaty it was. It doesn't remind me of anything we have in the US.

Funnily enough I had some Twirl at work today, one of my multipacks was 11 single finger packs, would be handy if they had those available in the US, then you don't have to have half a packet wrapped up in the refrigerator or something
Yes, we are kind of spoiled... I suppose that's why we find American chocolate 'not as good' as UK chocolate, being brought up on a certain recipe and all that...
I think twirl is just a flake with a chocolate wrapping and Cadbury's answer to the ripple... at least you don't get as much 'loss' with a twirl than you do with a flake...
I don't think they have flake in the US either but there is one in the box so I will try it at some point.
cadbury makes all kinds of stuff we don’t get in US but can be ordered
That is what I did. I ordered a box of Cadbury selection box from the UK so I could sample their chocolate.
i’m thinking if doing the same, nice to get or try something different. i might get one for me and another to pass out to others, also ordering some of the wine gummy candies and found spicy gummies that a friend might like
I had a picnic bar today. I wasn't really sure about the raisins, but it was really good. I would definitely have it again if they were available in the US.
Day 3 I had a crunchie bar. I wasn't sure about the honeycomb at first but by the end I enjoyed it. It wouldn't be my top choice but I wouldn't turn it down if offered again. Another one that isn't available around me but it is available in some places in the US.

the box (10) bars are not expensive compared to buying 10 candy bars at the store. how long did it take to be delivered?
edit, hit the wrong quote but might order a couple boxes, 1 for me and another to hand out. was it amazon you ordered from?

I ordered it on November 10th and got it December 2nd. The order came from the UK, so it did take awhile. The price wasn't bad at all.
Just fyi gang if you'd like to make your own chocolate sauce, my friend made a batch that was excellent.
It's using Hershey's special dark cocoa powder, and granulated coconut sugar at a ratio of 2:1 i think. Just melting together in a pot then putting in a squeeze bottle. Been using on desserts and in cold brew coffee.
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

Wait!...What?... You had a crunchie on a Monday..... *sigh*
