I agree that it isn't hard, but TO time consuming. It takes a few hours to visit neighbors and find all those snakes. Especially in a house farmers town. They can hide in there forever. I don't mind visiting friends but its the tracking down the snakes that's annoying. Especially the last one or two. Takes far to long. They also should have had a way for people to know who left them eggs so they can return the favor. Or at least know who not to return it too lol. The concept of the event is dope along with the prizes. Just could have been a little better planned. Truthfully I'm glad it took this long to complete. Keeps you interested, but the amount of time each day needed is what's turning people off. I can have patience, just not all my time taken up lol.

I agree it's such a chore! I could literally spend a couple hours a day whacking snacks in neighbours towns etc but when you've got a dissertation to write and a wife who groans everytime she's see the load up screen on my iPad it takes all the joy out of it lol!

    And glasses.

We are all going to need glasses (or stronger prescriptions) after this is over due to the hours spent staring at small screens trying to find snakes. I really don't like the one that blends into the road. The blue and orange ones aren't as bad except that blue one books it. Gotta be quick to catch him, he is the one causing the carpal tunnel.

Should we send them the bills for the chiropractor (due to the permanent cramps in our elbows and shoulders and backs from being bent a certain way), the surgeon to repair the carpal tunnel, and the eye doctor for the loss of vision?

    Not difficult, just tedious.

    This, a million times this.

I wouldn't call it difficult, just too time consuming. EA had to balance die hard players with casual players which is pretty much impossible. If its too easy to get through the die hard players complain.

So they set the bar high, and now there is no way casual players get everything without spending donuts, which a lot of casual and new player won't do.

I became nieghbors with several real friends that have androids at the start of this update and I've realized a few of their towns stopped progressing. I wonder if they thought the game was always too time consuming and were discouraged and quit.

Yes I experienced and wondered the exact same thing. Looks like they gave up. Too hard for a newbie to start the game AND whacking day at the same time.

    I weep for them..

Or for the lost hours I'LL never get back.. lol

I think the difficulty is reasonable, especially considering the rewards. I think I am going to love the stadium and colosseum.

Yes. The only way you can get it without spending money is to pretty much have started on Day 1 and grind away through 100 neighbors. But that's the point. There's enough balance so that people who play every day feel rewarded as they get EVERYTHING, and casual players have enough variety in items to feel rewarded even if they don't get everything.

I call it difficult because it is time consuming. Sure anything would be easy if you had unlimited time to get better or complete the thing. The fact that it requires this time in a limited time frame makes it difficult. I had to pack, move out of my house, move into a temporary place and amazingly I'm on track. I think it's because I bought the log since I've been slacking on visiting friends. Plus the constant log ins. That's why Christmas was better, the coins came after 24 hours on the houses and the tree. The Zombies was after 10 hours. The snakes are just coming in too fast and with other parts of life (family, work, etc) it's extremely difficult to log in every 2-4 hours and play for like 3-4 hours a day to whack some snakes. That's why I say it's difficult.

Whacking snakes is easy, logging in is easy, just reaching the high goals with the above makes it difficult.

EDIT: for those other Gamers, it's like being handed Skyrim (a 100 hour game) and saying in order to get X achievements and/or particular skills, you must complete this long list of quests in a month's time).

Yes it's too hard. I started at the beginning, and I've been visiting neighbors, and I'm going to struggle to complete it. It'll be the first event where I haven't got all the non premium limited items. I'm only on roughly 6500 snakes. And about to have my snake income go down. If you can't buy doughnuts it's a little hard.

I started from day one of the update and only at duff stadium I think they should bring everything back after the update costing donuts but not at a ridiculous price like Santa's Little Helper costing 150 donuts

Time consuming? That's the complaint? As if you wouldn't be playing it anyway! It's great because it's busy work, but productive and rewarding.

I play the game plenty and I'm at 5200 snakes. Some of us have work and life outside the game. Some of us play the game, but not all day every day. It's probably a vast majority of the players actually.

<snip> Think about it - you have to tie up several characters for 24 hours each for a measly 20 or so snakes apiece. The time spent to reward ratio is way off balance. You tie up Lisa for 5 hours for 3 snakes?! If this is going to be the level of pay-off, then let me send all my characters on snake whacking jobs!
    </snip>

I agree with this 100%. It's too much time for each character for so little. I had the same complaint with the Xmas update, where the coin tasks were too long for too few.

I will get to 12500 by morning if not tonight. And I've been playing too much. I can tell you now, after this event, I'm going to start giving longer tasks and not doing these 1-hour check-ins. It's gotten too tedious. Will have to push a little thru the last couple weeks now, to maximize the bonus boxes (probably not all though), since I've wasted this much time already.

Can't wait til next month when I get to Yosemite and will have 5 Tapped-Out-free days.

Searching for snakes in neighbors towns has been very tedious!!

Feels like "where's Waldo" except we are looking for snakes!

I've also come to a new conclusion I hate some neighbors towns with no streets and forests everywhere. Impossible to find snakes .

But you already can buy everything for donuts, no need to make them available for longer times
