Why do we have to defeat this guy 3 times? That doesn’t even count the initial first time beforehand. And I’m pretty sure you have to defeat him in small and large form. So that’s 6 times!

To make the event seem longer.

It’s okay by me. It gives a way to earn Event Currency, so we can get to the final prize. That’s the real goal.... Dracula!! :D

cuz of Horcruxes, bro! read a book!!!
  • It won't let me fight him anymore! I got one round of the regular characters fighting him, one round of the beasts fighting him, and then it said he was regaining his health (4 hours). But now that he regained his health, it won't let me do anything. There is a task bar that says "done," a button that says "done," but clicking them does nothing. Any ideas? I tried going to friends, going to Krustyland, restarting, deleting/redownloading, switching devices, etc.

I have never read the books, or seen the films, have caught snippets of them over the years, but nothing ever caught my attention... I probably learned more about the film due to my kids scoffing at the puns and veiled references made by Wizards of Waverley Place and exclaiming why!

Mine is only paying out 100 event currency when the two beasts are battling. Seems like it should be 200. The beasts earn 100 each when they are “released” so right now battling is costing 100 to perform. Anyone else having this payout?
I’m using Keeney and leny beasts.

Somehow I have 2 Montymorts in my town. One that does jobs and one that stands in the ruins. But I can not do any quest related jobs. I need to fight him now but I don't have any option of doing that. Uninstalling didn't work and it is not possible to store the ruins... Help!

If you go to the event icon (where it shows crafting etc), on the left hand side there is a red icon at the bottom. Click on that it will show the interface for fighting Montymort.

I can't find what you mean...
  • @bibi_boe1982 Either click the event icon top right, next to the daily tasks or event icon bottom right, next to the friends icon.

Tap the red icon on the left side to bring up the Battle for Springfield:

Well in the Harry Potter books the Bad Guy splits his soul into fragments and places the fragments in various containers. Each container needing to be found and destroyed before the Bad Guy can be killed. (one of which being Harry Potter himself) therefore.... gaining immortality. *abridged*
Which would have made more sense if they had started the Montymort stuff in Act1.

Never read the books or watch the films, not interested in any of this wizardry stuff.

@bibi_boe1982 If tapping the ‘do it’ button doesn’t work, then you probably need to contact EA. There seems to be several bugs with this part of the game, but that is the first time I have seen that particular problem.

    Good luck.

i have the same problem as you. I don't have the button and can't start the task. Not going to bother contacting EA. I've just decided to give up on the event with a week (actually it was 10 days...) to go. There are other issues reported further along the quest line, so it seems to be a common problem but it's unfixed so far.

I ain't reading no book either ..
  • Hmm I guess I am one of the lucky one's and right now working on vestige pt.3 and the 3 round for monsters should hopefully start pt.4 tomorrow.
  • I have the same problem, and I think I am glitched. I am finished with all the quests, Lisa and Bart has no more "obligatory" tasks, Morty is just standing in the ruins, not doing anything. I can't send the beasts to fight him. The game keeps telling me I have to get Treestache, which I'm not gonna do, not for 60 donuts. I can only release the beasts to get the decorations which are very unimportant now, I have tons of them. No other tasks, nothing. An update came when I logged in a few days ago but nothing changed. I can't fix anything by visiting neighbors or Krustyland.
So i'm gonna lose a full character because of that, that's annoying.
  • Well at least my son can fight Montymort on his account. But he is 6 and I won't let him play alot so he won't make it to the end in time...
