Do you enjoy the new episodes of The simpsons?

Feels like now-a-days Simpsons are trying harder and harder for the short attention span Family Guy style of animation. Cut scenes, very odd couch gags, etc etc

Lacks the wit and intelligence the series once had in earlier seasons.

Can't blame them for trying to target a new audience though... I remember every Sunday night through-out elementary school / junior high... ah, those were the days...

yeah you're right about new audience, because my cousins (ages of 8-13) enjoy the new episodes!!! whereas me (20) i would always pick an old episode over a new one.

plus, the characters have fallen off pretty badly as far as their former characteristics and traits go. They seemed to stop caring about the history of the characters. But, I guess when you've been running for 23 years it's going to be hard to maintain all that...

Yeah I think they shud wrap it up soon they should go out on a high not because people lose interest.
