PSA: For freemium players: Lord Montymort tasks.

I have done some calculations regarding the Act 3 quest line for the Battle of Springfield and Lord Montymort and how long it will take freemium players with no premium content. I have posted the figures in the strategy thread:

It will take 14 days and 4 hours to complete part 3, if a player logs in 4 times a day, although the event will end after 14 days from the start of act 3. This assumes that EA leave things unchanged. Players could choose the following strategies:
A - Logging in more than 4 times a day. Bear in mind you can rush for free the battles when there is less than 24 minutes remaining.
B - Buying some premium content.
C - Rushing with donuts part(s) of the quest line. for example, the 4 hour wait whilst he regains health costs 2 donuts to rush

So with no premium monsters, I knock two hearts per round. This meant I got monty down to one heart before my final battle. I sent one monster after him, which I immediately rushed for two donuts, then spent two more donuts to rush the rest. 4 donuts let me skip 8 hours...

I rushed them all. You get Montymort as a character. I have had no issue with the game getting stuck. I can still craft.

Come on EA! Not everyone can log on 4 or more times a day! Some have to work and sleep!
Unless EA fix this (which is doubtful) that is the best option right now for anyone concerned there isn't enough time left.
There is no way of knowing if EA will just give Monty to those that don't make it.

Me too. I shared your calculations with my forum yesterday and found several players havent even got to 1/3 yet. It is worrying.
The usual rule for freemium players is 4 log ins a day to get everything but this is way off!
I would never use donuts to rush tasks as I like to play it through but in this instance the 2 spent rushing the rest parts is the best way to counter effect this ridiculous grind.
A lot of my members were taking it easy in game play as the other 2 acts have been easy and simple to complete. So thank you so much for drawing our attention to this before it is too late!

yesterday hit first monty-defeat.
with only free beasts and one rest time, my calculation is 27 loging for comlete.
9 days to go = 3 times a day.
or 4 times a day = about 7 days.
i'm safe, but many don't.
P.S.
buying premium bests is futile now.
It takes 4 days just to enchanced.
and freemiums dont even enough fighters for monty and tame new beast at same time.
So long as they don't take away the quest.
