I think my town looks pretty good right now. It's not as great as I want it to be because I was spending money on buildings instead of land. Right now I'm saving up money to get land so I can make my town look really good.ive never understood people who don't at least try to make their towns nice. I understand that some people are just better at it than others but some are obviously just thrown together.
For example one of my neighbors have all of thier buildings just stacked right next to each other. Not facing the road but sideways.
I just finished up the Wacking Day prizes (no boxes yet). I've got a reasonably nice town, some larger areas still need to be developed, but no eyesores. I'm pleased with it. I've cleared out some spots on my friend list, just removed some folks whose towns are a little messy.
Ideally I'd just like to have a friend list with people who play regularly, and put a modicum of thought into their design.
I have put a LOT of work into my town and we are talking many, many hours. I have all land purchased and only a little open for eggs, otherwise it would be full :P Here are some screenshots:

Is Jarci still around? She used to have a thread grading people's Springfields. Although, I haven't seen her around since the mods changed her thread title.

I can see that being a busy job, especially trying to keep up with events too. And she doesnt even get paid to do it i'm sure.

She was on my friends list until I panicked one day. I kept losing 15 snakes every six minutes while in her town, so I deleted her. Now I feel really bad about it because now we know it wasn't our neighbor's fault.

I had that same problem, I would visit friends and lose 100 snakes at a time. I lost 400 snakes from that crap, but luckily they fixed it and i'm back on track.
Hey ya'll. Don't "debate" the person who started this thread or he will quite suddenly not like your town and delete you from his friend's list.
He sent me this after he complained about people giving their eggs away with contests:
"I wasn't impressed with your town, you shouldn't have responded to my thread.
Carry on and please do not reply. I'm so sick of amateur players claiming they have a well dressed town. The nerve of some peoples children to waste my self indulgent time. "
So if all of you "amateur players" want to remove him from your friends list, he can spend his self indulgent time trying to get eggs on his own.
I had started this thread to hopefully exchange creative ideas. I added queenautumn and checked out her town. She gave me numerous compliments on my town and was obviously offended that I removed her from my friend list to make room to check out other Towns. This was the purpose of this/my thread and she seemed to have an extremely high opinion of herself and her town.
