The games speed faster what **** that is, after every tackle takes 10mimutes before you start again I literally fall asleep watching NFL,not only that you pinch our footy players for punters because they can kick alot further than your guys can.

Which is exactly why the game speed is faster. Sometimes you have to think outside the box. Same with the pad argument.

You have a game that works in short downs, so the athletes are conditioned to go 100% on every down. They get rests, so each reset they are flying around at full speed.

And I'm pretty sure the only Rugby transplant kicking in the NFL is Sav Rocca and he's not exactly known for his distance. The NFL is a game of specialist athletes. The kickers have distance and are actually very accurate since they don't have to be all-around athletes or skilled in any other aspect of the game. I've actually heard Rugby fans talk about how it was pretty crazy to see a NFL kicker drill a ball across the field and put it within feet of the returner.

Again, misinformed. There was one fairly well-known Rugby player that transplanted into the NFL. Last I heard, he was struggling to stay on the Jets roster as a tight end. Not exactly balling it out over here.

Totally different game mate,Greg inglis has played rugby his whole life and then to switched to a different code is harder than you think even for the top athletes as your game has some seriously talented player it's not as easy as putting on Boots and out you go, don't get me wrong i have respect for your game aswell as a huge amount of skill is required especially the qtr back, they always impress me as how to pin point passing the ball, hugely impressive but I think we have to agree to disagree as already posted. Now v8supercars are on,gotta watch as its better than NASCAR lol

Not much to disagree about. Pretty much everything you said sounds like it came from someone who has never watched or cared to learn a single thing a out what you're attacking. It can be proven statistically that the NFL generates more serious injuries like bone breaks, brain trauma and ligament tears to Rugby's cuts and bruises.

I really dont know why rugby fans always turn these discussions into a * match over which sport is more violent or 'tougher.' Both are great sports and sources of entertainment. I love basketball and it's not near as rough as either sport.

Fair comment, but if you get the statistics, is probably American stats as Australian stats say otherwise but anyway yes I love the nba,not as good as it was in the early 90s but still awesome, if you want a laugh you should watch our nbl (national basketball league) is so crap compared to the nba. And we'll done to bogut and the warriors couldn't Beleive that when I heard, but I think it's gone be tough against the spurs. I hope the thunder win this year as IMO I think Kevin Durant is a much more affective player than James, and less experience to, but in saying that James is really impressive as a big man, he is quick and can shoot but mj still goat.

Just had a long night came home and with my addiction had to hop on TSTO to collect and then go on this forum
Nice to see people liked my comment because it is Giants all the way..and it's interesting how this comment started a whole debate I'm sorry don't get offended but y'all Australians won't last a min out here and you want to talk about Bloody wimps..NFL players can do ten times and make it look easy and entertaining plus our sport is more dangerous and multi talent needed. Rugby you guys look like y'all playing Our version of rugby which we call TOUCH FOOTBALL and the players look gay please we need to see entertainment and skils not some skinny legs Looking like females on the field and our injuries alone scare y'all you guys would never join. Our training and exerices is rough and serious. This sport MAKES or BREAKS players Professional or Ameuter. Some people can't even stay one year without injury and there is so much on the line for these players, people break bones or severe head injuries and rugby players look like they just touching each other.

Don't get it twisted i have family all over the world so just cause I'm from NYC doesn't mean I'm ignorant towards rugby I know how it is I like soccer as well but football is a real contact sport and I feel like back in ancients gladiator times that was their sports and football is the closet coming to it in roughness obviously nothing compared to it but closest coming to it.

If you really want to get bloody Hockey players over here get REAL BLOODY!

Sorry drunk I'm off to sleep ill report back in the morning
