  • I emailed EA again asking for help. Hopefully they can give me a solution this time. Funny that if they don't know what to do, they throw their customers elsewhere. Anyways here's the email he sent me. After I looked at it again I realized he claimed that the studio looks at the forums and fixes bugs. I thought it sounded odd, but I was out of options lol. I will update if they find a solution to the missing Otto.

    I would recommend posting this issue on the forums, this is where the Studio look in order to find issues with the game and would be the best place to post any bugs like this when troubleshooting cannot fix it.

  • Hi, unfortunately to me it looks like you have the standard ' We haven't got a clue how to fix it e-mail, so lets send him somewhere else and hope by the time he gets around to contacting us again the issue has been fixed' message as sometimes these types of problem are caused by the event itself and just goes away with the take down.

    I would keep complaining if you are getting 20 donuts each time. Once Otto is back, then EA will have paid for him.

    yes I was told when I called the help desk once that the devs actually do look in bugs and issues. Not sure if that's true, but help believes it to be true so couldn't hurt to post there. Game discussion probably not so much.

    Hi John I suspect that you are correct and they do have a browse over the forum from time to time (due to some of the text that's appeared in the game) but how often they check is anyone's guess.
  • Thanks guys for the help. I got another response from EA and this guy was much more helpful. He said Otto is not being offered at the moment, and will only become available for a limited time again for 150 donuts. He's not sure when he will be available. A bummer because I wanted to do the polar express themed event, but hey at least I got 20 donuts out of the situation! So it's not a total loss.
  • He's also normally 120 donuts with the school bus.

    Yes I understand, which made it weird for an actual rep of EA to direct me here. But I'm happy to know I'm not the only one having this issue, and maybe if more of us complain EA will get word and resolve the issue soon.

    It happens quite often, personally (although I have no proof) I have a suspicion that they direct people here when they either have no answer to give or have no idea how to fix the problem.

    They send people here on a regular basis unfortunately we can do nothing as we are just players of the game just like yourself, I suspect that they send you here when they can't help and just want to get rid of you.
