Unable to place water

I have all the land purchased in my Springfield. Since the latest update I've noticed that the water I'd previously placed in the last two 'southernmost' rows of land segments has gone missing. The game won't let me replace the missing water (though it will allow me to place tiles of ice). Is anyone else experiencing this?

The good news is that this is the sort of glitch which is usually patched at some point. It may not be really quick, but it’ll probably happen.

aside from 'funky global warming', Winter is not over, therefore snow should remain until spring!😏
