Possible way to get rid of krustyland. With Event.

The robots from itchy and scratchy land destroy the krusty land park.

Comes with great video of it happening.

Event starts and the event will be to take back itchy and scratchy land.
You will have all you’re preminum rides and other rides that you can fix and place in itchy and scratchy land when the event is done and you have taken back the park. Or maybe the rides can be put in main Springfield after they repaired. Then you can have a small type fair area for you’re springfield.

Maybe how itchy and scratchy land is set up is like roller coaster tycoon visually. Not the stupid 3d version now but the one way before where when you could launch you’re roller coasters into other peoples parks somehow.

Make it look good. And other people’s charachters could enter you’re park. And stuff like food purchases ticket sales could help the park grow. The better you’re park would be depending on how you’re customers were happy.

Like a real theme park sim but simpsons style.

It’s a thought.

  • Why do we have to get rid if it? Can't you just not go there?
  • Nuke it and never go back.

I'd much rather that they allow us to move stuff such as the monorail, C.o.C and various other event items to Krustyland to make it into a superb theme park, this would also free up land space in Springfield and reduce item count too.

I am the process of buying all the land in KL after years of ignoring it and intend to do just that! NUKE! Then I'm going to design a huge skull and cross bones for the centre piece. :#

  • How about an expansion where Diz-nee Land takes over Krustyland/Springfield with a load of new rides with maybe a Cosmic Wars Event.
    Just trying to be topical.

I'd go for that, in fact anything that would breathe new life into what could be an awesome addition to the game would be great, Although maybe make a sort of standalone update so it has no effect on the normal game and then Krustyland haters don't have to play through the event if they don't want to.
  • I think you are over thinking it

Whoa, whoa, whoa – I only accept cash, bitcoin, or GameStop stock.
  • Alas, it won't happen. There's only a small number of developers managing the game and they are focused on new content. Going backwards to extract and rewrite all of the KL references would basically mean no need content for a long while. So better to let it just sit.

Ya, putting effort into something good is not in their best interest. That's why we will continue to bring it up until they are sick of us.

Don't increase the Item Limit? Then I don't play. Period.
  • Krustyland is not leaving. When you go to other people's towns, you have the option of going to their SF or their KL. If you removed KL, all that would have to change. All the event and job based items would have to be rewritten. The KL map is actually loaded on top of a portion of your SF map. It would be a far less hassle for EA to ignore and abandon KL (which they have) then to get rid of it outright. So why not just occasionally return to KL and have an event there? Maybe even expand it beyond its fences and/or parking lot? Either that or add new maps, like Shelbyville, Capital City, etc. My favorite idea would have been for the airport to take you a map where you decide where to go, and EA would add cities occasionally with mini events based on "The Simpsons Go To..." episodes. But alas, to dream.
At least being able to put things in other maps would help clear up your SF, rather than having to make it more and more enormous and cluttered.
  • I visit KL every day, tap tickets..exchange for IGC.
    win/win

That would be enjoyable and make perfect sense, so, no.

How do you know this information? Is this something you assume or do you have factual information? Link?

  • I completed Krustyland, and basically gave up on it. I occasionally pop in to harvest tickets. I honestly, want to get those 5 donuts for the 100 consecutive games of Sideshow You.

I've been Pro this a Long time.
So many things would fit better there, and I would be more likely to be there fixing them up
PM me- I DO need Good Neighboreenos currently
  • Imagine how fun it would be if we could create food courts, if we could use hedges and different fences and walls, chairs and tables, monorail, a working train, all the pyramids and sphinxes and prehistoric items. If we could use our hundreds of castles. Future stuff to create a Tomorrow land. Fountains. Spooky items. Etc. Etc.

  • Honestly, with all the weird items, I wound up building my own theme park within my SFs. It keeps getting bigger with each event and weirder items. One has a food area, candy area, Xmas area, haunted area, Praiseland, Duff Gardens, Sci-Fi area, pagan zone, western zone, zoo, magic area, dinosaur zone, and its own monorail. It's sort of like Universal's Islands of Adventure.
