I lost the event! (Problem resolved!!)

I’d started Part 4, of the Homergeddon Event, put Homer and Bart each on their 4 hour tasks. I logged in a little while ago to see how much time remained, and both Homer and Bart were free, the job icon was no longer in the task book, and the shed with the ice cream is gone from my town!! Yikes! It’s not in inventory or in the store either.

Might be worth trying a re-sync of the game by popping to the neighbours screen or Krustyland.

Was hoping that it was just a simple error that a sync would fix

but guess not, as above support might be able to help personally I'd be tempted to try a reinstall before contacting EA just incase, anyway best of luck with the game.

Thanks. I wanted to wait till l was home with good WiFi before I tried reinstalling the game. Going to try it now.

Probably resolved!! I logged back in, it still showed 0 tasks with homer and Bart not on task. I wanted to collect everything before I reinstalled. As soon as I started to clear completed tasks, the event icon reappeared in the task bar, and the tasks were completed! Then finished the two remaining 6 second parts. All done, with fireworks and systems message!! Yay!! No idea what it was all about! Thanks so much for the help!!
