It happened to me right when I first updated to whacking day - I smacked over 10 snakes,
then server disconnected and I could only whack 5 after that

Are you sure you whacked all the snakes, the first time around? I've been delivering eggs in a friends town the last couple of days, and I know that after you tapped three buildings, you can return as many times as you want, and keep whacking snakes, until you get them all. In my case 10.
So if you leave the town with a few snakes unwhacked. You can get them in the next 24 hours. when the 24 hours are over, you start with 5 or 10 snakes again.

Yes or normally yes hahaha its weird, got back, and no more snakes now!

I wacked 5 i am sure, and wacked 5 again now !

Sorry to hear that someone has truely lost it.

I tried visiting friends as well and all I was able to do is get the 1-2 snakes I didn't find last night. (I have the 10 snake permit)

I couldn't find any snakes in the towns that I visited less than 24 hours ago. I tried this in 5 different towns, no luck...

Hey Missy, you don't have the Elite license do you? Just asking as that could be why you could whack 2x5

When I first started I could whack 5 per town. I think mine glitched twice and I got to whack over 20 in a couple towns.
