It only bothers me if the houses are wall to wall with no roads. Some people actually have clever ways of making farms look good.

I want to clear them all out but anytime I try to post a thread about it, it gets merged into the add me thread, lost in the masses, and I just get added by more new players with farmed towns. I want to just add people that actually spend the time to make thier towns nice.

I agree. I have extra houses to fill out the town and I have the brown houses set up like they are duplexes or triplexes. But hey have yards and roads. I also can't stand the towns where all the buildings are just thrown around. What's the point of playing if that is what you are doing?

Depends on the effort Put in to the rest of the town, if the town is nice with a farm tucked to the side that's ok but if you land on a farm as soon as you go in, then not so good!

I can't stand them, I know it's everyone's game and they can play how they like, but to me it doesn't make sense, if your farming to make money to buy stuff. What's the point if you don't take pride in your town? Totally doesn't make sense to me one bit. They look like Lego houses that have fallin from the sky and landed in obscure positions.

Well if any of you would like to add me that would be great. I love looking at towns that people have taken time to work on. I'm going to delete a few ugly ones.

I was making bugger all money back in the day so I had a house farm of white houses. Couldn't care if ppl didn't like it with the farm I was earning enuff that I didn't need to vist towns. Bought up all land and got rid of the fam now I can't get rid of the money :evil: what ever I spend ill make it up by the end of the day.

I don't house farm either. It took me awhile to build up my town but it was worth it. If you add some premiums, you can make extra money that way. If you're looking for a town that looks like a town, feel free to add me.

I farm on a small scale, but done it so they are proper little neighbourhoods

I agree. I have lots of extra houses but has set them up nicely. When I see a bunh of houses stacked I always think, "but how would they get in thier house?" Maybe it's my OCD. Lol

Add-me threads will be merged into the add-me topic. This is done in order to prevent the forums from becoming nothing more than add-me's.

Unfortunately, most of the players with nice towns have full neighbor lists. I would suggest that you find some up-and-coming players who are like-minded and grow your towns together. It's what the rest of us did.

We will let this thread go for a little while but if it continues to be mostly an add-me? Then we will have to lock it since the majority of the posters have stated that they do not want to see a bunch of add-me's.

Keep looking, you will find some good neighbors.

Oh goodie, I wasn't the only one getting annoyed with farms. I was planning to refresh my friends list after whacking day was over anyways. So far, I still only have 1 building of everything lol :P

I have three purple, blue, orange and pink houses, four white houses and just the one ugly brown house! My multiple coloured houses are on there own individual roads like a new build estate.

I only bought multiples to up my indolence rating, I'm quite happy to wait and make money just playing the game.

I think my towns nice and laid out properly, like, liveable, but once I've got more land and dollars to spend I want to have a go at trying out some 3d effects and being a bit more adventurous.

For the time being though I'm happy with it laid out nice and neat (IMO)

If people want to house farm that's up to them, but I'd rather lay my town out nice and wait for the cash to build up more slowly.

I do prefer neighbours with nicely planned out towns as they give me ideas and inspiration.
