Keeping tabs on visitors?

There isn't a way to check when they came to your town.
I don't get a notification every time somebody visits my town. My town is destroyed every couple of hours and I get one or two notifications a day.
As for visiting friends, I try to hit them all every 3 days or so. Going thru 100 friends a day takes time. I'm tempted to delete my friend total down to 50 or so.
