What is current item limit.

I have a pretty new device So to speak. It’s a iPad Pro 10.5 inch and my item limit just warned me not to go over 7,700 so is this the current cause I keep hearing some saying it’s higher then that.
Because that can’t be a glitch can it, if it’s higher for some but didn’t update for others.

Or maybe it will go higher later but now yet.

The item limit is currently 10,700 (I think). What you’re seeing is a warning. The game works by issuing a series of such warnings as the number of items in your town approaches this hard cap.

Classic, but for me the item cap is not big enough still. And they are constantly giving us more items. I'm like.....*hands up in the air* where am I suppose to put them EA? They are stuck in storage because I can't place them. Spend donuts on stuff I have to put directly into storage.

@KrustyBrand is correct, the last increase was on 26th January.

I started to add up the count in my main town and ended up throwing the Ambien away. I think I went through a ream of paper and about a gazillion pencils. My final count was somewhere between 4 and half a googolplex. I gave up when the iPad hit the floor after falling from my hand after I fell asleep.
