Having trouble to start the Sanctus Arx Nerdarium quest.

Ok so the repost didn't work in showing the images but I'm presuming you're not at the right level to be able to build the library yet? If you go to the building screen is it still locked?

I am on level 20 and it says to build the library I need to reach level 12.

I have taken a look even read it all over again but it only says:

Springfield Library
Main Quests:
1. Bart skip school (8 hours) (Skipping Rocks)
2. Skinner prompts building of the Springfield Library (24 hours) (Sanctus Arx Nerdarium)

And this is what I have done so far. I let Bart skipping school and it took 8 hours but after he finished skinner was not prompting anything about building the library.

I just don't understand it.

No unfortunately it doesn't help. It only says things which I tried out already. But it doesn't work here.

This is what that links says about Springfield Library

Try store the school, and then place it again in your town?

This I have not yet tried.

EDIT: ok I have done this now. But now I have to wait anyway 3 hours because 5 hours ago I did send Bart again to skipping school and since this task takes 8 hours I will see if your trick works earliest in 3 hours from now. That's when Bart will be finished with the task.

Hopefully this will work.

Hi

Are you sure you have completed all the tasks prior to Bart skipping school including all the tree house tasks.

Also did you just send Bart to skip school (which it seems to read as) as you need to wait until prompted.

I would ensure all your non-premium characters are free to make sure you progress correctly.

Bumble Bee Man is a premium character and wouldn't be the actual trigger to build the library.

Sorry to confuse you. I was just wondering if you have completed all the tasks prior to Bart skipping school. The bumblebee man may have promted this before the rest of the standard game has caught up.

Have you got the Treehouse and if so have you completed all the tasks as listed in the walkthrough: http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/9043283.page

It should tell you to make Bart skip school wait until a ! Appears above his head with a conversation about him skipping school before putting him on the quest. Now if you already have been prompted and had the conversation about skipping school but when he finishes skipping school it's not pushing the story forward then Bart is glitched and to fix it put treehouse in inventory and pull it out again.

Yes the treehouse quests I have all done.
I remember it now reading it from your link

1. Lisa & Milhouse go to school (6 hours each) (Bart Crusoe Pt. 1)
2. Build Bart's Treehouse (Bart Crusoe Pt. 2)
3. Bart skateboard (4 hours) (Bart Crusoe Pt. 3)

I assume there must be a glitch with the treehouse as ecneralc has mentioned it in the following post.
So here is what I will do now

Wait until Bart finishes his task "skipping school" then
Put treehouse back into inventory and out again
Then hoping for the thing to start.

What if it doesn't ? Is there any way around it so that I can continue the game?
I mean it looks to me like if I can't get that library then I will be stuck forever at this point because all following buildings are build on the fact that at first I have the library. Without it I will be doomed

Anyway I tr it out and will be back reporting in a couple of hours or so.

It also doesnt hurt to leave your characters taskless for a while.

In that case I would do as you say and put the treehouse into the inventory. If that doesn't work then there are various things you can try, if a game isn't progressing as expected I try to get all the characters free just in case I have missed something. If not you could try closing the game completely and restarting. Finally you could try uninstalling and reinstalling. I am sure you will sort it out.

......, I think I found a solution.

I inventory all stuff then put it out back again after waiting some time, now the quests started by showing Bart's the speech bubble. Phewwwww I am glad this headache is over
