I have no advice, but I can offer my agreement, as least on part of it. I'm already up to level 26 but I still haven't unlocked nor can I afford the hospital, wiggum house, burn's manor, etc. Still trying to save up for the Pimento Grove and post office too. Getting the cash is taking forever! And it's not like I've opend a whole bunch of land w my money either.

Ok cool I set them on 1 hour missions when I intend to play and then increments I between play ie I put an 8 hour when I go to bed but think ill try the 24 hour I just want something to do in between.

I have no missions going on at the moment because their all backed up waiting for me to build their buildings. Frustrating that's all

I bought quite a lot of land early on not tonnes and tonnes but enough not to bother now but that was when I was stuck waiting for XP so I could level up now I seem to be levelling up at ridiculous speeds but can't quite seem to get the balance right

Guess ill just redesign my town again and quit whining about it wishing my game away Lolz

    Xoxo

I was in the same boat, was around when level 24 came out, I didn't have enough cash for anything. Once the escalator came out, I thought I'd never be able to afford it since I don't house farm. But a few short months later, and I have over 20 mil and more cash than necessary. Once you own everything, and have all characters, the money starts pouring in since you're not spending any. Just play daily, and have patience.

I'm averaging earning about a million a week now. :D

They recently changed the way buildings unlock. You no longer have to complete the whole quest-chain. Before that, as long as you sent everyone on one-hour tasks, you'd have enough to buy each new building, even when they cost a lot more than they do now. Be patient. One day you'll have more than you need and won't want to send anyone on tasks at all.

I'm on level 29, and have nearly completed my second bonus level since 29 came in. Haven't built the Skinner house and only started Fat Tony's Compound today. I'm constantly broke although a recent rebuild probably cost be a buck two. If they continue to add levels at the current rate don't see that changing, but actually prefer it to having nothing to do but plenty of cash.

Yep, same here. Kind of hard to believe that around Christmas time I could barely afford the hospital. It's a struggle in the beginning, and so many items probably seem out of reach, but the money will come and you'll wish you had more to buy soon.

Cheers guys...I've redesigned my city to get rid of the farm but keep enough houses to keep my bank roll going I like pretty towns... But just to make my point today I got wiggam to collect bribes.... I can't do jack with that because I need to get the other things first I will come back next month and apologise to you all for bleating about being bankrupt and now waiting for updates I have no doubt....

Need more patients but the game is just too damned GOOD!!!

I have it balanced by having two or three of all the houses, but I put them in a neighborhood. They all have a backyard and space that makes them unique; with trees, fencing, scrubs, flowers, etc. The same houses aren't placed near each other. It definitely helped balance out my income.

Putting the story on hiatus and saving for some houses and land helps, you don't have to farm, just a simple neighbourhood looks good, and certainly helps boost your income around that point in the game. If you have enough houses for your 5 star indolence then your on track. You should have 1 house for every level your at in the game thus lv21 is 21 houses etc...

I stuck with the 24 hour tasks, too. In the beginning, I stead of land, I bought cars that would add to the amount of money I earned, and it eventually built up. Keep at it, it will happen!
