Because most of the time all you want to do is move parts of your town or a specific subset of items to new areas. Not move individual items items one by one to create the same setup.
*gasp* I just re-read the decorations list; how could we forget the ANGEL OF SAVINGS!!! I always loved that episode where Lisa unearths a fake angel, Homer steals it and starts selling tickets. Classic Homer!
Love this game, but it needs to be more interactive, with mini games that earn money or donuts..... 3d view of the town, and a conforimity bonus for using all your available land.... donut for completing a game generated quest would help to achieve the high donut requirements for kids or people without lots of money...oh, and the ability to gift one of your friends a donut, say once a week or something.. how about being able to communicate with your friends and compete with them in the mini games too... come on EA you could make this game sooooooooo much better.....
I would like to have the Lard Lad Donut shop to give you a free donut every 24 hours. You paid 110 donuts for it, why not get something back in return. It'd take you 110 days in return to get another premium item, don't think that's too much to ask.

Decorations
1) trees, shrubs, flowers etc
2) street furniture (lamposts, newspaper dispensers, phonebooths, bins, benches)
3) fences and playground items
4) vehicles
5) characters
Buildings
1) houses
2) shops
3) others (factories, schools etc)
i know it's not a massive deal but i feel it would be quite a good alteration to the current menu system
I don't need more houses, but it would be cool to have the actual houses in different colors.
Did anyone say "Shelbyville" yet ?
