No it's not, and also Legs and Louie joint task.

I'm beginning to think that they just don't care!

Mine was fixed right after Whacking Day ended, I've had him complete it twice without any issues.

It only kicks my characters off task when I put things in and take things out of my inventory.

I tried it today, and after a few minutes he was walking around again. But I was taking things out of my inventory, I believe...

The moment you buy, sell, move things, or use the inventory he stops his task, hence it's not fixed.

It doesn't happen when I move things around. I tested that. It just happens when I use the inventory. And I haven't tried buying or selling anything yet so I'll test that next.

He's completed the 10 hour of the 12 so far and during this period I have put things into the inventory take them back out. Moved some decorations, exited the game, restarted and he's still on the mechanical bull.
This has been the longest he has sat on the bull for me so far. The task has to complete yet for another two hours though.
