Building up your bonus %

Prev1
All youre missing is quantity.

Also you missed out on snake speakers (which are great to hide behind buildings), and snake logs/stumps which look good in forests and yards.

It doesnt take much to get a decent multiplier. To get an insane one though, it takes quite a lot.

I saw another thread where people had these huge bonus percentages. Mine is around 16% and I am level 29.

I purchased what looked like the most efficient use of donuts for bonus % which is the police car, burns limo and news van. I think the only other item is the white fence that has the same efficiency (20 donuts for 1%).

Is there something else I am missing? I would really like to get that percentage up there. My town is 4.5% and it looks like I need a bunch more shops/restaurants to get it to 5%. Was thinking of using stale donuts on Try and Save and Asia de Cuba but not sure if it is worth it. Would like to get some new characters too. I ended up buying the school bus and squeaky voiced teen since they were the cheapest in their category.

The Tirefire is a good deal for the percent I think, the Springfield sign is the most percent bonus I believe, but it is 170 donuts.. I would say get it over Asia de Cuba... Only 70 more donuts for like 4.5% bonus... But this is my opinion.

I wouldn't bother too much on trying to build your bonus. In my opinion, that isn't the priority for donut spending. I tend to buy what I want and what makes my town look better -usually, they tend to be the same :).

    Vicious cycle really.

Spend a lot of donuts to increase your multiplier in order to farm bonus level donuts more efficiently. lose/lose situation aha :P

Its true. Some of the towns with the highest percentages are messed up and unpleasant to visit. Make you're town attractive to yourself.

Likewise. I buy stuff for decorating purposes, regardless of bonus.

Did you get back into your town ? I see your multiplier has dropped for the insane to the crazy

How are you figuring our your bonus multiplier? Is there somewhere on the game that actually tells you or are you just calculating it yourself and assuming your actually getting that kind of bonus. Because I've calculated my bonus based on the items I have and it definitely doesn't show based on the payout of my jobs I complete!!

Tbh, if you have maxed out the levels the only advantage to a higher % that I see is faster bonus level donuts. If you play regularly you should be able to collect enough money to make it through the next level release by the time it rolls out. Just work towards the town you like.

While I had the chance I stuck snake logs behind all my houses and buildings to get mine up to 920. Didn't change the look of my town at all. Although it now sucks having to collect cash from all those logs. That cool million I bank everyday cause of my bonus% sure doesn't.

I have every premium item, a few links of white fences and several park benches. Mine is currently 63%. I agree with one of the previous posts and just concentrate on keeping your town looking nice and not cluttered.

This. Although I've seen a lot of towns that do have heaps (and I'm talking 3500+) items in them, but still look really good. Kudos to all those who can achieve this.

I did. got help from spanser.

Sacrificed 300% or so but worth it to actually be able to play. I'll get it back up with non animated premium decorations slowly.

Hmmm...I haven't checked my percentage lately, but I did have the foresight to buy lots of logs, rocks, and stumps for future decorating needs, since I was planning on building a campground around Fort Sensible. I shall have to remember to pay attention to it when I log in tonight!

The snake items no longer give a bonus :(

We SERIOUSLY need a HUD widget that tells you how much your total multiplier is. We shouldn't have to use MATH to work it out with building payouts; it's an integral part of the game mechanic!
