Maybe use cobblestone walls for the steps up to the Observatory? Instead of benches?

One of the best parts I've seen in a Springfield is that top left hand corner section. Really like it, nice job.

Love the symmetrical gardens in Burns manor. I've been trying to achieve something like that but, like you say, the lack of variety in the decorations is frustrating and I haven't been inspired. I am now though
I'm hoping the Squidport decorations will add variety and we can mix it up a bit more. Great job on your town!
