New pet peeve

I have five games so I log in and out often. Since the current update in two of my games each time I log out I get that “fill in your age” screen before I can log in to my next game. It’s an extra step to switch between games - annoying enough - but do I have to be reminded several times a day how old I am?!

They need to make sure you didn't benjamin button during the day...................

I never had that problem. I always stay logged in anyways. When I open the game, I just tap continue.

I play two towns and also log in and out all the time, but I have not had to do the age screen. Its only happening with 2 of them?

Yes, two out of five. Conspiracy theory: these are the two towns I have a forum membership with (I used to log into the forum here as Surfcitypeg also, but haven’t done so for years - too confusing).

Anyhow, I’m old enough to play TSTO, whether EA believes me or not

I should not have complained. With the teaser update now I have to fill in my age when I log out for ALL my games. That’s at least five depressing moments every day

I only have two towns, but I have been floating the idea of abandoning my satellite town since Bart Royale ended.

No you don't. Instead you could be any age you choose, several times a day. Wouldn't that be more fun?

My pet is also peeved. Why when logging out?
I'm always 99 for these things, and if they want my birthday it's 1-1-1900 (or what the lowest year is available)

Right there with you!!!!! This is getting old REAL fast. Every time I get a new device and install TSTO there is no option to immediately login. No you have to start all over from the beginning before you get to a point where you can log into your primary game. You put so much effort into that, you figure might as well keep going. After a while you realize you put so much time into it & even have some premium characters and a fair # of donuts you should save the game. Then that happy day comes along when your finger slips or you have to restore your phone and the TSTO startup sequence starts all over again. 5/6 years go by and the next thing you know you have a bunch of Springfields. It takes a good amount of time just to do one cycle through each Springfield. I told myself if this was permanent, then it is time to shutdown my other Springfield’s. EA can do without any extra splurges I might have indulged in on those mystery boxes. Really, really old!!!

seriously though, i see how you can manage 5 towns but it is still impressive!
i’m down to 2 now, had 3 but downsized. request me if you have a free slot, would love to see your main!

I started playing in 2012. It took me a long time to find this forum and very much needed neighbors. My friends at the time were fed up with FarmVille and refused to try this game, so I started new towns to be my own neighbors. TSTO was much smaller and slower then and 5 games weren’t hard to maintain. Now I find I just can’t give up on any of them, even though they’re all huge. I do take breaks - last week I enjoyed hiking in the Sierra Nevada mountains with no phone, no cell data, no WiFi

It's the same problem here: have to give my age and accept the terms and conditions every time I log out. I find that curious, because usually you would have to confirm that if you log in the first time, and it doesn't make sense to do it when you log out, i.e. leave the game.

if thats the worst glitch you have, consider your self lucky, many people are having a lot worse issues. unfortunately that is the way it is for now
got to give you credit for researching and finding the right place to post!
hopefully the next update will change for the better!

I'm experiencing this same "glitch" (it feels so wrong calling it that based on what others are going through). Has anyone found a solution?
