CT is just central time. Right now Central time zone is 5hrs behind GMT because of daylight savings. GMT never changes for daylight savings. Originally it was 9 CT, 2pm GMT. Now that it's 11 CT you add 2hrs to GMT to get 4pm GMT.
Just saying.. .

Our GMT clock does change for day light savings - we go forward an hour in March and then back an hour in October
Hi Taggie, not strictly true, GMT never changes but during British summer time clocks are changed to BST which is 1 hour ahead of GMT. So, if it's 14:00 GMT then it will be 15:00 according to your clocks during summer.

Can't wait for this event to start - just a fraction under 3 hours to go woohoo
Don't blame me I was just taking orders!
If it means an end to the posts about the different time zones and time converters, then, yes, I am “hyped”.
You said it. Now if we could end the "I need help when the answer is right in front of me" posts we would be in business!
Someone has to do it. Better the one you know...

Except that means it's actually 5pm in the UK.
I'm as confused as confused can be... it's nearly 2pm here in England.
