Hows everyone feel on having to Nuke Krustyland?

  • As far as i can tell the tickets are still not affected by the multiplier other than the up to 5% you get based on the number of stars your krustyland is. So i just tested witht eh viking boat. Should be 40 tickets. I got 42. I have 5* in krustyland and over 500% spring field bonus.

    yeah I can't figure out the KL bonus either. I have a 2000 plus multipler in SF and only got like 38? tickets by tapping on a park patron.

    Generally KL bonus % works only on XP and has negligible effect on tickets. This is during the pre nuke days. I am not sure what is the effect now.
  • As far as i can tell (which means i spent 2 mins looking at it) the only thing that effects the tickets is how many stars you have in the krustyland rating. i'm at 5 stars and get a 5% bonus on the tickets. No more than that.
  • All my rides that were ready for collection, gave me 2 tickets over whatever they are supposed to earn. And when I check my Krustyland meter it's the same percentage as my SF overall, 297.35%

    Didn't care about nuking KL at all. I can now build out Duff Gardens with all the Duff items from there and use the I&S items in the new park. I'm not sure if I'll rebuild KL in Springfield yet.
  • At first I was pretty excited having KL in Springfield but now NO WAY...all my game does is lag...try to move across the screen and it won't budge...I tuck items into storage but doesn't help...I didn't have issues beforehand.
  • A lot of people are having trouble with lag. My ipad handles it fine, but it seems a lot of trouble for a lot of players just for some pretty uninspired action.

    The solution for this has been posted repeatedly since June 1. Disconnect a track from the new rides which stops the animation and the lag. The lag on the group move is a result of significant resource requirements and older devices have trouble with it. There are also threads on help for that.

    I cannot rebuild KL yet. I'll need like 50 more land tokens. It seems dumb to even try to build anything at this point, because the delay in the group select tool is just too long to bother with.

    The outlands designs, the international heist designs, and now these I&S designs are all Just lying around in incomplete segments, thanks to their lame new land token policy. I've loved designing my town for years and they've brought it to a standstill.

    I'll very tempted to nuke SH and rebuild there, following this map as a guide:

    All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

    I want my old krustyland back, I really hate that I had to destroy it!!!

    Would have preferred having a separate KL. I had a tribute to my Mother who passed in 2013. I bunched up the tribute to save it in sections, but, it's so big, that I'd run out of room in SF if I tried to set it up, plus, it was all done. Now, I'm finding it tedious to even try to rebuild KL, because, as soon as one event ends,man other starts.

    On another note,mi wish all my friends would disconnect their Injury 500. Every time I try to visit their towns, I can't move the screen, and then, I get kicked out of the game, with the "Ugh, not that screen again". I'm frustrated. If you're on my friends list, believe me, I'm trying to get to all of you, but I'm failing miserably. As soon as the KL event ended, the 500 was stored. Now I can move my screen again. At least, you should consider turning off the animation on the new rides.

    I feel pain, real pain as far as a computer game can go, I want KL back, no if's or but's, I just want it back so much.
    I'm still collecting tickets just in case.

    When I started off I wasn't doing anything in KL because I didn't understand it, but then I wasn't really playing SF properly either.

    I'm really just helping build up money, buildings, donuts, characters, anything to make it profitable for the young'ins when they come round to play on someone else's ipad, they're allowed, (buildings cost a fortune, I know, Rules, I will be posting it in the correct thread later), they can spend ages moving buildings, laying roads, tearing up roads, relaying roads in the same place, then tear them up again.

    Don't ask me why, they just do.

    They don't do anything with the characters, storylines, prize tracks, tasks, they just like building, and I mean they REALLY like the building.

    But when I realised how important KL was, I was sending as many characters out there as possible.
    I even googled how I could push KL along and I would do stuff in SF just because it helped KL.

    So KL was going to be mine because the sproggs didn't go to KL and play it properly either, same as in SF.
    Sproggs is old English for children a bit like Cletus's put the new spuckler to work recycling, if you were wondering?

    I was going to have KL like a proper theme park, I had bought 2/3 of the land and was going to buy all of it.
    Instead of just having the rides on the side of the path, I was going to have little paths going to the rides with railings both sides.
    I was even going to have entrance and exit paths for all rides.

    I was going to make the coloured tents look like fortune tellers.
    I was going to put multiples of the food buildings in KL, but I was also going to have some bunched up in places so I had multiple food courts spread out.

    I was going to totally own it. It was going to be mine, all mine.
    The little'ins could smash up SF all they like, I can't do it now.

  • I liked my KL, but I’m happy to eventually recreate what I liked best in the main game. And I can move around some things to other parts, like the Marine World style attraction, which is now in my Beachfront Pirate section. Like @madfish86, I created a whole Duffland park, which is loctaed in my Germany area of Springfield, and Duff Pavilion worked well there.
