Please let us control where NPCs will roam around

I want my krustyland mascots at my KL park.
I want the Tumbleweed at my old west town.
The robots at my future Springfield neighborhood.
My monsters at my Halloween area.
My xmas characters at my xmas area.
Nessie at the casino area.
I could list many other examples.

We need to set an "anchor" for each NPC.
And him/her must roam about only some land tiles around this anchor.

Our towns are too big now, and that's a good thing. But we need more control.

    So you want to PLAY with your NON PLAYABLE characters?

    Perhaps holding your breath will make this happen. Give it a try.

  • Disconnect your roads. NPC’s will travel if there is a roadway to follow. In my “B” town all of the NPC’s are in one little strip of roadway at the bottom of the town. I only have the ones I have to keep out, but I’ve had them all out and they stay put. Be sure there is no other roadway nearby, in case they wander. Use pavement if you must have a semblance of roads nearby. To get them to the little stretch of roadway remove all your other roads, leave town for a few hours, and they will migrate to the only roadway they can find. When you come back you can replace your roads.
    Since almost everyone is remodeling any way, removing your roads keeps the area grab limited to just buildings.
